Amanda Saenz was born in southern California and raised in both South Texas and the greater Los Angeles area. The daughter of a singer herself, Amanda was raised with a variety of musical influences.
Looking up to such singers as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Patsy Cline, Carole King, and a number of other female singers/songwriters, Amanda has applied the same self-taught learning discipline in such varied arenas of music as R&B, country, adult contemporary, Spanish and modern dance.
Amanda was initally vocal coached by Tiffany Enriquez, sister of pop singer Joy Enriquez. She then became a student of John Henny, associate to famous Hollywood vocal coach Seth Riggs, who has provided vocal lessons for such artists as: Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Luthor Vandross, Kelly Clarkson, Julio Iglesias, Natalie Cole, Prince, Anita Baker, Josh Groban and Ray Charles. Through both teachers Amanda was able to learn a lot in the field of voice technique and conditioning. After a few years she strived out on her own to provide her learned knowledge to groups of other young potential singers seeking to improve their vocal ability.
In 2000 Amanda began a working relationship with Texas music producers Eli Molina and Jay Alaniz via Malia Records in South Texas. Through them Amanda was able to meet country singer Cassandra Lynn, whom she provides background vocals to on occasion. Amanda was also able to provide her own written material for the 2004 Jagqa Productions film "The Neighborhood".
Presently Amanda is offering her original music for motion picture and television distribution, and performs private vocal coaching and bookings when not in studio recording.
